Happy Summer!

Those of us in the Child Advocacy Center world know that summer can be a wonderful time spent with family and friends but can also be a challenging time for our children.  Summer is a time when many children go without the resources and support typically provided by school.  During the summer it is important that we all come together to support Ohio’s children. If you see warning signs of abuse or neglect such as unexplained injuries/bruising, changes in behavior, or fear of going home please call 1-855-OH-CHILD and you can make an anonymous report to your local Child Protective Service Agency.

Children’s Advocacy Centers are great community partners, and I encourage all of you to plan a visit to learn more about your local Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) this summer and see how they help the children and families in your community.  You can find your local CAC by clicking here.
