Child Abuse Prevention Month
Child Abuse Prevention month is an awareness month held in April every year. During this month, organizations and communities raise awareness around child abuse and methods and mechanisms for prevention.
Community Prevention
Throughout Ohio, during the month of April, communities can engage in prevention efforts by collaborating with their local CACs to bring prevention education curriculums for children, parents, and professionals.
Community members can provide support and awareness by engaging in events throughout the state such as pinwheel planting, Ohio Wears Blue Day, and social media campaigns among many other activities hosted.
Statewide Events
As a part of Child Abuse Prevention Month, ONCAC is hosting several events to kick off April and gather professionals and community members excited to engage in child abuse prevention work. Learn more about each event and register using the links below.
