About the event

Senate Bill 214, enacted in July, advances support for human trafficking survivors by simplifying the process for expunging criminal records linked to their victimization. This training will cover the new law, the evolution from Senate Bill 4 in 2018, and how to advocate for expungement with survivors of human trafficking Additionally, it will focus on best practices in trauma-informed care to ensure a judicial process that fosters healing and justice for survivors.
