Ohio’s Children’s Advocacy Centers provide children and families with healing and justice in a setting they can trust. To understand the impact CACs have on the children and families they serve, our centers receive feedback directly from caregivers and members of the multi-disciplinary team on an ongoing basis.
The Outcome Measurement System (OMS) helps CACs define their successes in serving children and families while helping them benchmark their progress against the work of a nationwide movement. This rich dataset demonstrates the value of the work CACs provide to children and families in Ohio and the success of the CAC model in the eyes of the partners that make it possible.
Ohio Children's Advocacy Centers provide a variety of services in response to child abuse concerns. These services are provided to children who vary in age, background, and presenting concern. They are able to receive services that include but are not limited to medical treatment, mental health treatment, community service referrals, forensic interviews, and advocacy. Ohio Network of Children's Advocacy Centers compiles statewide data submitted by member centers on these topics, case outcomes, and center operation.
